Hearthstone provides emotional and practical support for anyone experiencing domestic abuse in Haringey. The support package we offer includes:
Housing advice including access to refuge accommodation
Free legal advice on a range of civil remedies such as injunctions
Access to solicitors who provide free legal advice around family matters
Sanctuary scheme to make your home more secure
Working with you to plan ways to increase your safety
Access to counselling

Solace also run North London Rape Crisis Service, which is for women and girls over the age of 14 who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives.
If you are worried about violence or abuse from your partner, ex-partner or a member of your family, you can get help and advice. If you are in immediate danger, you should always phone the police on 999. You can also contact Haringey Police on their non-emergency number: 101.
If you are not in immediate danger, call Nia (an independent domestic violence advocacy service). You’ll be given a brief assessment and referred to the most appropriate services.

You can speak to a specialist VAWG service to get help and advice for yourself or someone you are worried about.
Specialist Domestic Abuse and VAWG services can provide:
free and confidential advice and guidance
emotional support
risk assessment and safety planning
support reporting incidents to the police
support and advocacy around housing, benefits, and legal options
counselling and group work
Who can access specialist Domestic Abuse and VAWG services?
Abuse or violence can affect anyone. Support is available regardless of:
age
gender
sexual orientation
community, faith, or cultural background
immigration status or recourse to public funds
disability (registered or not registered)
mental health condition (diagnosed or undiagnosed)
